The house is our refuge, it is security, it is life, it is family. Today more than ever we are aware of what this word means.
Our houses have witnessed “special moments”.
If our houses could talk, what do you think they would say?
We have learned for another year, among other things, that we have to take care of who takes care of us. Our house
has taken care of us more than ever. He has always been there to give us the best moments. It is the box where
we keep “moments” turned into treasures to remember. Some good, some not so nice,
even so, they all form the map of our life.
The house takes care of us. A smell of stew, toasted bread, coffee, cake… Smells that are home.
Benedetti defines it
as a natural good that is also a form of spiritual consolidation.
The kitchen has experienced the most beautiful awakenings, the comings and goings out of boredom as the days went by.
That kitchen that we now value so much that it has become the heart of the house, sharing meters with
the living room and that now asks us to be more welcoming, more practical, more home.
We have never lived with such intensity in the living room or in the bedroom.
Never before have we felt the need to create a space to work at home.
Never before have we given so much importance to the state of the mattress or pillow.
Never before have we taken into account, at home, even the air we breathe,
that we have even bought a machine that cleans and renews it.
Even the houses in the village we have reformed, readapted and converted into homes.
Never before have we valued our house so much because we have lived more outside than inside, but like at home… Nowhere.
I do not want this chronicle to sound reproachful, quite the contrary. We have gone out to party again, to meet in bars, to dance and to travel, but we always return home, to home.
Where everything begins.
With everything learned, surely many of us have home renovations in mind, some new furniture, even some move.
We return with great force to the studio in Marbella (Málaga).
We encourage you to live life outdoors, to look for places where we can live our union with nature more intensely:
a weekend in a rural house, a walk through the countryside, look for a town where you can get lost to enjoy
